We are currently seeking our second future Chocolatier to work in our small chocolate factory in Ennis.
This is a position under the Job Bridge Internship scheme with a view to turning it into a full-time position at the end of the scheme. To be eligible, you must be in receipt of social welfare for a minimum of 3 months. Our Last intern is now in full time employment with us.
There is no previous experience required for this position. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. You will be fully trained in Food Safety, HACCP procedures, how to create and temper RAW chocolate bars/pralines/sweets and other confectionary.
Your creative side will also be nurtured and encouraged to produce the next big chocolate delight.
You must have passion for food, attention to detail and a willingness to learn and work hard.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will be responsible ultimately for producing Chocolate bars. This includes preparing all the raw materials, following recipes to the gram and wrapping the products ready for shipping. Other responsibilities will include cleaning duties, fulfilling orders and possibly attending events to promote the chocolate.
